Shipping Policy

The shipping policy dictates how Alarm Wizards handles the processing and fulfilment of all website purchases.

Please note that due to the specialised nature of the equipment sold by Cape Thermal, certain items may be subject to increased delivery times (2+ weeks). We encourage you to contact us to confirm stock availability and lead times before placing an order.  

What happens following my purchase from Alarm Wizards?

  1. All online store orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  2. Cape Thermal will confirm your order telephonically and via email.
  3. Cape Thermal will contact you (via email, SMS, or telephonically) to notify you that your order has shipped.

Shipping Rates and Estimates - Anywhere in South Africa

Shipping billed per the weight and volume of the items ordered. Liability insurance for shipping is optional but recommended. 

Cape Thermal reserves the right to levy additional fees for difficult-to-reach locations. If you are uncertain about delivery to your area, please contact us.

International Shipping

Alarm Wizards can ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. Contact our sales team for more information.

Please note:  Cape Thermal will only consider international requests for customers residing in Wassenaar Arrangement member countries.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Cape Thermal is not responsible for these charges if they are applied. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us. This mail will include a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

Contact us at support@alarmwizards.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Alarm Wizards does not ship to P.O box addresses.

Alarm Wizards provide shipping insurance is a line-item on quotations and invoices for all purchases to mitigate any loss which may occur. Any claims are at the sole discretion of the insurer involved. 

Alarm Wizards shall not be held liable for any loss or damages that occur to any items while in transit. 

Alarm Wizards does not include complimentary insurance on RMA or warranty related shipping.
